This elevated maisonette was carefully transformed from a partly finished property into a sophisticated and highly functional home. With its spacious layout, the design by CVCarchitecture reimagined the flow of the space, ensuring a seamless connection between the entrance, living areas, and the outdoor terrace, perfect for entertaining and enjoying modern living.

Key to the transformation was the use of warm oak paneling, which not only enhances the aesthetic but cleverly conceals storage and integrates essential services, maintaining a clutter-free environment. The expansive 80-square-meter open-plan living area serves as the heart of the home, bringing together a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and an elegant dining space. This opens directly onto the large terrace, designed as an outdoor extension of the home, complete with a BBQ, bar area, and lounge for relaxed, al fresco living.

Thoughtfully selected materials—raw steel, grey marble, oak, and natural hardstone—were chosen for their timeless appeal and to create a harmonious, modern interior. Custom-designed elements like the floating steel shelving in the study and the sleek, minimalist media unit in the living area enhance the clean, contemporary feel.

The home also features a striking fireplace that visually ties the indoor and outdoor spaces together, as well as a master bedroom with a luxurious ensuite, featuring a freestanding tub and elegant, curved plaster walls. This project blends style, comfort, and practicality, making it a perfect modern sanctuary.
