Balzan House

This renovation transformed a neglected two-storey house into a stylish, functional home for a family of five, blending historic charm with modern living. Key traditional features, like arched Maltese stone windows and patterned tiles, were preserved while reconfiguring the layout to flood the space with natural light.

A striking double-height entrance hall now opens onto a lush garden, with the kitchen at the heart of the home featuring a unique island that extends into the outdoor space for seamless indoor-outdoor living. The upstairs was restructured, creating a spacious master suite with a walk-in wardrobe and a timber bridge connecting the children’s bedrooms.

Modern conveniences like underfloor heating and bespoke storage solutions were integrated throughout, creating a perfect balance of contemporary comfort and timeless elegance.
